Here Come Finals

There are three more days left to week eleven. There is only thirteen weeks in this semester. This means there is only about one and a half weeks left to this semester! Thank god! Then we have to tackle finals, which luckily I only have three. Surprisingly I made it through last week managing to complete everything that I need to get done! I think I did pretty well on the two papers that I had to pass in and I know I did well on the grammar quiz I had to do because I got the mark back. Unfortunately I have to go back and redo ambulation and transferring for my spot test. I will just have to try my best next time and be better prepared for that component of the test. Other than that I’m pretty much done, I can finally start to prepare for finals. I have no more papers to write, which I have to say, is a major relief. At this point in the semester I’m feeling the stress of finals start to hit me, in the way that I really want to do well in my courses and I’m just feeling the pressure that I put on myself to do just that. Like everybody I want to be successful in my chosen profession and I can definitely say that sometimes in this course I question myself on whether or not I can be successful. In the end I know I am a well determined individual and I know that if I keep putting the work into it that I am now, that I will come out on the other end proud of myself. I stress myself out too much sometimes. I know that I spent last week with several nights with only three hours sleep. I was so tired and just couldn’t get to sleep with everything on my mind. Spending hours staring at my ceiling in the night and hours staring at my clock in the mornings I found out that music is one of the things I use to calm myself down and relax. One of the songs that I found motivated me was It’s my Life, by Bon Jovi. All in all once again, I’m going to put my all into these last couple of week of school and finals. Again I am really looking forward to having that long overdue break and seeing family and friends from back home! I think this break will give me the energy to get through next semester and keep going with everything I got. All I have left to say is bring it on!
